I've stayed in this condo 6-8 times or more and it's always perfect. 20 yards to the best beach by far and I've stayed on 30-A with a girlfriend/owner. Due to location beach is never crowded and we come down in July (3rd week). Sand is clean and white; water crystal clear and all so close! Sharon's condo is immaculate, comfy beds, everything you need including a stand-alone ice maker. Because it's not a high rise you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the sound of the waves. Grilling area right there. You're always right there on the beach. Great places to eat out/shop and none of that crazy Destin traffic. Also I try to walk every day so I go up and over the Perdido bridge almost every day and catch those nice breezes. Sharon has everything you need right there if you want to cook in and seating for 8. We love it.

We had a wonderful week at Marlin Key! The beds are comfortable, the linens and towels are a good quality ( unlike other condos we have rented), the decor is lovely and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoy the low density complex with plenty of room on the beach. The rental beach chairs and umbrellas were wonderful. Parking was the only issue since the parking lot was partially blocked with heavy equipment. Not a major issue but inconvenient. We hope to be back soon!

I would definitely stay here again. We loved that it was a small building. For the whole week we were literally the only ones ever in the pool. Pool area and beach are great. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We LOVED the ice maker. Each check in/check out process. It was very handy to have carts to move luggage in/out.

My family loved everything about Marlin Key 2F. My adult son and his family spent most of the time on the beach. Marlin Key is not a high-rise and seems more private than most condos. This condo was perfect for us: comfortable, stylishly decorated with beach decor, thoughtfully equipped, and ideally located. We hope to return.

Our week long stay was great. We loved the condo. It was decorated very nice, was roomy, and had everything we needed during our stay. The view from the balcony was wonderful, the walk to the beach was easy, the pool was nice, and we loved the fly over by the Blue Angels. We absolutely loved our stay at the Marlin Key. The condo is beautiful inside. It has a great kitchen, awesome and very spacious master bedroom and bathroom, the kids loved all sleeping together in their room with the bunk beds. The beach is beautiful and was not crowded at all. The unit is close enough to the beach that the kids could walk back to the condo alone and wave to us from the balcony when they got inside. The Florabama is just a short walk down the beach and is a great spot for cocktails. We can't wait to go back again for Spring Break this year!

My friends and I have been going to the beach for 26 years and we've found our destination for all our future stays. The pictures do not do this condo justice. The furnishings are great (2 new 'cushy' club chairs have replaced the papasan chair), beautiful collection of beachy art work reminds you where you are even in the evening. 2 adults in our group slept in the 'kids' room and the bunk beds are really comfy. The location on the beach is fabulous and due to low density in the area the beach was never crowded even in peak season - clean sand/clear cool water!! Just got back from a gorgeous week at the beach. Have stayed here before and as usual this condo is immaculately clean, comfy furnishings, great location. We had great weather all week - a little rough surf but we were IN the water every day all week. There were workers around (pretty inconspicuous really) doing their job. We found a very few small tarballs (tip of your pinkie size) that were encapsulated in sand - no oil on feet, hands, chairs, towels. Really, without the workers our week was identical to last year. This is a great deal on a great condo in a great location. Go on down and contribute to the economy and take advantage of quiet clean beaches. OH - we found some great shells on one of the days when there was a small sand bar just off the edge of the beach. And yes, there were families with small children on the beach too! This was my group's 3rd year at Sharon's Marlin Key paradise and as usual it did not disappoint. The condo has so much personality - GREAT artwork - so you're always reminded you are AT the beach! We LOVE the big ice maker - always plenty to fill out adult 'sippy' cups for beach time. The water was clear and clean as was the sand. It's so nice to sit on the deck and hear the waves/birds - no high-rise for us! Mixed group of friends - mostly ladies - and some of us have been making this an annual event for 26 years. We love Sharon's condo and the location - lots of space inside and out - and so relaxing. There is lots to see and do in this area (always a Pedicure at the end of the week) but we mainly go for the beach. You'll never regret staying at this one!

This was our family's first visit to Marlin Key and really enjoyed it. There were five adults and three children. This condo is so spacious, it never felt crowded. Loved the decor and the view from the balcony. We stayed a week and cooked every night except 2 nights and enjoyed it so much. Plenty of room for us to cook and eat. The kids loved the bunk beds and the other beds were very comfortable. The beach was not crowded at all, very peaceful. Everything was great and we hope to return next year.

Everything about this vacation was a breeze, starting from booking it with Sharon, who is incredibly accommodating. All of my questions were promptly answered and I quickly realized that this was one of the best properties I'd be able to find for my needs.
The photos shown here, though beautiful, do not do justice to the condo's vibrant decor. We especially loved the master suite with a door leading to the balcony and large master bath. The updated, large kitchen fits all cooking needs I can think of, and we used the nearby outdoor grill for a BBQ one evening as the sun went down.
The condo is spacious and comfortably fits 8. It was immaculately clean and obviously well maintained. The complex is low profile compared to some others in the area and is in a nice, quiet area.
I've saved the best for last - the incredible BEACHFRONT view with the beach mere yards from the condo! You can see the beach from all of the main areas in the condo via the balcony, and the beach itself has fine, white, clean sand perfect for our relaxing spring vacation.
It was unanimous from all in my party that we want to return here someday!

Property was very much as advertised and photos were what we found. Condo easily accommodated 4 adults and three children. It's as close to the beach as one could get without pitching a tent. Unit is far enough away from hustle and bustle but close enough to grocery store, restaurants and other attractions. Owners were easy to deal with and quite helpful. Master BR/bath were quite spacious. Pool seemed somewhat small but we lived at the beach anyway. Unit and property overall were quite clean. If we return to this area will definitely consider this unit.

Sharon is always so easy to work with while setting up our stay at her vibrant condo. It has such a "pottery barn" feel to it. I love all the beautiful art work but my favorite part is the very comfy bed and linens…I wish I had it at my house. I love being on the second floor and the views are amazing. The beach is not crowded at all since it is a four rise but everything from grocery stores and restaurants to shopping is just minutes away. I have stayed twice, once with my family and my parents and once with my family and another couple and their family. We always had plenty of room and the condo is very well maintained. We have two little boys so a big plus is the short distance to the beach and pool. We love this condo!!!

Marlin Key is one of those small buildings that you might just drive right past it if you were looking for something fabulous on the outside. But don't let the simple, but very nice exterior fool you! This place is FABULOUS! It has only 3 floors so no long wait for elevators! It also has a covered parking deck so you get your own parking space and no keeping up with keys, returning them, etc. This unit has a keypad so all you have to do is punch in your code. But now to the good stuff! This unit is PERFECT! It's like your living in a cozy art gallery. Every room is so bright and colorful with such funky fun decorations with original artwork. No pastel peach and cream seashell decor! All the beds are super comfortable and it's a bonus that every room has a TV plus it's own bathroom with a shower or tub. The master bath has a HUGE bathroom with double sinks, a big spa tub and a separate big shower. The laundry room is a good size with great storage for ur beach stuff. The kitchen has all the amenities you need! The living room furniture is so cozy and comfortable! One of the best thing about Marlin Key is it is mainly families, not partying teenagers. And because it's a small building and the condos on each side are small as well, the beach isn't crowded! Also it is soooo close to the beach! I mean these condos are diredtly on the beach but Like the boardwalk is very short and then ur on the beach, unlike some condos I've stayed in that seemed like the boardwalk to get on the beach was a mile long! The pool area is fairly small, but is rarely crowded. Location is wonderful, just over the Perdido Pass. And Sharon, OMG, is the BEST, to work with! So friendly, helpful, funny, and will return your calls and take care of anything you need! I've never dealt with anybody as sweet as she is! I can't say enough about Marlin Key or this particular unit other than its PERFECT! I WILL NEVER STAY IN ANOTHER UNIT AGAIN!!!!!! You will not find a more spacious, well laid out, 3 bdr 3 bath, family friendly, quiet, fabulously decorated, comfortable unit with such a wonderful sweet owner (Sharon)! You won't be sorry with this unit or these condos.

I think this was our group's 4th or 5th time staying in Sharon's condo. We had great weather and as usual she's got everything you could think to need while staying at the beach. The weather was hot, hot while we were there but the heat indexes started dropping around 3PM and there was always a breeze on the water. A few jellyfish but no one got stung - even saw some people finding starfish! This is a lovely low density beach - never crowded! Can't say enough nice things about this place! Book it - you'll love it too!

We stayed here with another family, 4 adults and 4 kids total, for the 1st time. The condo was PERFECT for us! First off, the wives thought the place looked even better than the photos, so that pretty much gave it a 5 star rating. The condo was very clean when we arrived as well, so 5 stars for that too. Kids loved their cool room with bunk beds that had a tv and dvd player to watch movies before bed. The other 2 bedrooms for the adults were perfect too. The master bedroom bed was a little to firm for my liking but that's just personal preference. My wife was fine with it so that's all that mattered. All the bedrooms had their own bathrooms attached which is nice. Kitchen had plenty of pots, pans and utensils for cooking. Cabinets had lots of glassware and dishes. You have a terrific view of the beach from the balcony and master bedroom. We saw dolphin swimming by every day from the balcony. And just to keep it short, the rest of the condo was PERFECT. Now to the best part.... The beach access was awesome!!! You are very few step from the beach. We just left most our beach stuff in our cars so we didn't have to bring it up to the condo. The parking garage is just steps from the beach which makes it easy to bring things back and forth from the beach. We met several other nice families staying there and all our kids played on the beach and in the pool together. And best of all, the beach is never crowded! I give that 10 stars. I just don't know how anyone would be disappointed with this condo. Sharon is fantastic to work with and we plan to stay here again if we are able to come back next year. Thanks Sharon!!

What an incredible vacation! The condo is beautiful - the photos do not do it justice. Everything was so comfortable and tasteful. The view from the master bedroom is breathtaking. We would sit on the balcony every morning, drink coffee and watch the dolphins in the ocean. What a way to start the day!
The location within the building is convenient. It is on the second floor and we usually used the stairs, though the elevator was close too. The property itself is well maintained. I loved the covered parking with a reserved space. There is a very nice pool, though we never used it. The beach was a 30 second walk away. It couldn't have been closer. We used the chair service that was available on the beach. The rental fee for the chairs and umbrella was great. The beach has beautiful white sand and it is not crowded.
There are so many great places to eat that were nearby. You will never be bored. There are local parasailing and deep sea fishing services. If you rent this condo, you will not regret it!

Marlin Key was such a wonderful property. The view was excellent and we loved that it was a low-density condo. If you looked down the beach where the condos were taller, the beaches were much more crowded. Not down in front of our condo.
The kids loved having the choice between the pool and the beach. It was super helpful to have the feet and shower station conveniently located just off the bridge. I imagine this would be an ideal spot for families with small kids who need to nap. The beach is just steps in front of the property. Couldn't ask for a better location. We loved being on Perdido Key, away from Orange Beach. If we needed anything from the grocery, Publix was just minutes down the street. And the drive to PNS airport was a short 45 minutes.
The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We loved that each room had their own spacious bathrooms. We sat on the deck each morning to drink our coffee and take in the sounds of the ocean. Having a washer and dryer helped with the mound of beach towels. And we appreciated the free-standing ice maker...wonderful, utilitarian extra touch. The condo also conveniently provided carts for you to schlep all your belongings up to your space. Marlin Key is a wonderful property for a perfect vacation.
