It is also a great family-friendly restaurant with a children’s menu bursting with favorites for tinier diners (burgers, popcorn chicken, corn dog nuggets, and shrimp).

The Hangout

The Hangout is exactly what it sounds like: a fun place to hang out with friends and family, while enjoying great food and drinks. Like Sea N Suds, this local hotspot has been around for over half a century (70 years in this case), and is an integral part of the Gulf Shores vacation experience. Offering a menu packed with just about everything, including fresh seafood (the Ultimate Seafood Boil is a favorite), burgers (try the Sweet and Spicy Cowboy Burger if you like a little heat in your life), and an extensive kids’ menu, you can’t go wrong with any meal. Also featuring free live music and entertainment, The Hangout is moderately priced and sure to be your favorite.

Lulu’s Gulf Shores

Knowing where to eat in Gulf Shores with kids isn’t as difficult as it may seem at first. To be honest, with few exceptions, every restaurant in the area is fine for children, with most offering a kids’ menu and a laid-back vibe. Lulu’s Gulf Shores is an extremely popular, family-friendly restaurant offering live entertainment, a beachside arcade, and a delicious menu.

Tacky Jacks

Tacky Jacks offers three locations in the area, in Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan, and Orange Beach, so your Poole & Associates holiday haven is sure to be close to at least one location. Tacky Jacks serves breakfast (Banana Puddin’ Waffle), lunch (tacos), and dinner (Fried Seafood Trio), and offers a large yard filled with fun ways to play.
