You can choose to rent a block of condos in our popular condo communities, ensuring that each family has their own kitchen, their own bath, and their own beds, while easily being able to connect with all the others in the group. Choosing a condo community also gives you to access to community amenities, including resort style pools, hot tubs, game rooms, and barbecue areas, all designed to handle the relaxation needs of travelers.
You can also choose any of our standalone vacation homes in Gulf Shores, Alabama, offering locations near the beach, but also providing private pools, hot tubs, and barbecues, enabling every night to become family night. And yes, we even offer larger homes, further away from the Gulf, some residing on the banks of a river that runs through Alabama, offering tranquil views from large backyards and secluded locations that allow more dedicated family time and less interruptions from strangers.
The Best Condo Communities
Our condos are located in the best condo communities, and some even offer room for as many as 10 guests to live together in peace and harmony. Often resting on the white sand beaches of the Gulf, these spaces offer the innate serenity of the sea, while also providing modern conveniences, comforts, and luxuries that will make every guest feel special.
The Gulf Shores area extends out to three towns, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan Beach, each offering sea views and small town charm, and a different perspective to your traveling experience. As we mentioned, community amenities are included with your rental, and you and your group can spend long days lounging by pools, soaking in hot tubs, or exploring your competitive sides in game rooms. Barbecue areas will be a mixture of charcoal and propane, depending on the community you choose, and some communities may offer kayak launch sites and fire pits for more fun with family activities.
The Most Charming Homes and Duplexes
Traveling groups of up to 13 may prefer to rent our private homes or duplexes preferring to spend this family time only with their families. Spreading out and feeling comfortable is easy in these larger spaces, and although not all will provide a private pool, the majority will, enabling your group to discover one of our favorite summer luxuries, a nighttime swim during the hottest part of the season. As the moon shines and the stars twinkle in velvety black skies, there is an extra element of peace and tranquility you will feel and the cool waters will help you lower your body temperature and sleep deeper. These spaces, just as our condos, will also offer fully equipped kitchens, large living rooms, and luxury amenities that could include gourmet appliances (including wine refrigerators) and laundry rooms, so travelers can pack light and save room for souvenirs in their luggage.

My husband and I and son and friend stayed here over Easter and had a great time. Incredible views of 2.5 miles of undeveloped State Park dunes and also Lake Shelby. The condo has a 42" flat screen TV and is clean and comfortable. We really didn't need a thing. Loved the two pools, hot tub and the ability to be close to everything but have an uncrowded beach. Quiet to sleep and everything worked. I think we were the first to stay under the new ownership. The balcony view is one of the best we have seen in GS.

This is a WONDERFUL vacation destination!!! It is close to the beach, quiet and feels like a home away from home. If your looking for a nice place to stay that is cozy, comfortable and calming, this is IT.The owner was a pleasure to talk to, and made sure I knew what was available on the property and in the surrounding area. There is a pool just outside the front door which is very convient. At night, it was REALLY relaxing going to sleep to the sound of the waves. This is a vacation spot you will not regret renting. My family and I are looking forward to staying here really soon.

Do any of your large group rentals offer fireplaces?
For the large part, the answer is no, but we do provide a few retreats that may offer wood burning stoves. We do offer quite a few firepits, however, ensuring a cozy outdoor experience.

We have a large group with a lot of small children, can you suggest an activity that everyone will enjoy?
A beach day is always a good idea for groups of all ages, but when the sun, sand, and surf gets to be too much, you may want to make your way to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, located at 20499 Oak Road E in Gulf Shores.

We really don’t want to lug beach chairs and umbrellas across the country, can you direct us to where we might buy some inexpensive ones while we are here?
Any big box store in the area sells beach gear at lower prices than specialty beach stores, but you may not have to buy anything as many of our properties are equipped with a closet filled with beach gear, including chairs, umbrellas, and coolers.

Why does the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo look so familiar when we have never been here before?
Our wonderful zoo was the topic of a documentary called “The Little Zoo That Could.” It aired on Animal Planet in 2006 and explored the difficulties, and how they were resolved, after multiple big hurricanes hit the area, including Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Do any of your properties provide cribs or high chairs?
Yes, many of our Poole & Associates retreats will feature pack n’ plays, high chairs, and other baby gear so you don’t have to carry yours with you. That information will be included in the listing.
